College Societies

Following societies are working for the grooming and character building of students: 

CHARACTER BUILDING SOCIETY  

Incharge: Prof. Dr. Arifa Zereen 

The Character Building Society is an initiative of the Punjab Government to promote healthy and positive character building of the youth. 

ISLAMIC SOCIETY

Incharge: Mrs. Asma Ijaz 

This Society aims to clarify and reinforce various religious concept in the minds of the students. Competitions of Qirat and Naat, Islamic Debates, and Islamic Quiz are organized annually by this society. 

PUNJABI LITERARY SOCIETY

Incharge: Mrs. Ruhina Farooq 

This Society functions to promote Punjabi language as it is widely spoken and has its traditional and cultural heritage. 

URDU LITERARY SOCIETY

Incharge: Prof. Dr. Sumaira Mukhtar 

This Society plays a major role in developing a deep insight and knowledge of culture and literary trends among its students. 

NAZARIA-E-PAKISTAN SOCIETY

Incharge: 

Mrs. Mehwish Qamar, Mrs. Shawar Husnain 

This Society is known as Nazaria-e-Pakistan Society. All the national days i.e Independence Day, Quaid-e-Azam Day etc are celebrated under the umbrella of this society. 

CAREER COUNSELING SOCIETY 

Incharge: Mrs. Javeria Zahid 

This Society acts as a corner stone for creating awareness among students regarding human psychology. The society provides students with a platform to develop and groom their personalities. 

HOME ECONOMICS SOCIETY  

Incharge: Mrs. Sadia Majeed 

This Society plays a vital role in extra curricular activities of college, enhancing the individual creative abilities of students in different fields of home management which is a major part of Home Economics. 

FINE ARTS SOCIETY  

Incharge: Dr. Nadia Nadeem 

This Society aims at training students with the skills and knowledge of creative practice. To promote theoretical and practical experience, this society regularly organizes competitions in various genres. Beautiful specimens of art are kept in exhibitions at the college premises. 

SURIYA MULTANIKAR SOCIETY 

Incharge: Mrs. Dilkash Ayesha 

This Society is named after the legendary singer Suriya Multanikar. It polishes the hidden potential of students enhancing their confidence to sing and participate in various inter-college and intra-college contests. 

SCIENCE SOCIETY

The Science Society plays a vital role in polishing the hidden talent of students regarding different scientific topics. It includes making of models and conducts poster competition in which students are also awarded cash prizes. 

SPORTS & PHYSICAL EDUCATION SOCIETY

Physical Education, being an integral part of the overall education program, makes significant contribution towards the achievements of education and health. This program promotes physical growth and development of the students. 

SOCIETY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Incharge: Mrs. Noreen Riaz 

This society aims to inform and educate the students, teachers and community about environmental issues. It conducts various activities to beautify the college premises and create awareness regarding various environmental issues. 

PAKISTAN GIRL GUIDES ASSOCIATION

Incharge: 

Mrs. Suneela Ali, Mrs. Mehr-un-nisa 

This Association assists the college administration with their help in time of calamity and reaching out to people. Moreover this association assists in maintaining discipline in almost all the functions taking place in the college premises. 

RED CRESCENT SOCIETY  

Incharge: Mrs. Uzma Noman 

This society aims to educate our students about volunteering for blood donations. The society runs its own blood donations youth club and arranges awareness walks frequently. 

DENGUE SURVEILLANCE COMMITTEE 

Incharge: Mrs. Sara Hayee 

The components of dengue surveillance include monitoring the disease, mosquito vectors, environmental and social risks. The committee conducts seminars, arranges walks and distributes pamphlets among students to prevent the spread of dengue. 

ENGLISH DEBATING SOCIETY

Incharge: Ms. Nadia Bilal 

This society enhances the confidence and verbal communications skills of the students by organizing various declamation and debate competitions. 

ENGLISH LITERARY SOCIETY 

Incharge: Ms. Ayesha Siddiqa 

The society organizes both inter class and inter collegiate essay writing, poetry recital and enactment competitions. 

DRAMATIC SOCIETY 

Incharge: Prof. Sumaira Mukhtar 

The society endeavors to create awareness regarding social issues through dramatic portrayals. Furthermore it polishes the acting skills of the students and boosts their confidence.
